This Code of Conduct reflects the commitment we make as players of NHISC to ensure we create an environment where we respect each other, work together and develop with purpose.

• I will play the game within the rules and abide by fair play.
• I will have respect for others and myself. This includes respecting opponents, officials, coaches and team members.
• I will respect the environment in which we are playing, training, socialising and attending functions in.
• I will wear the correct uniform and wear it with pride.
• I will be punctual to games, training and team events.
• I will respect coaches, managers and officials’ decisions both on and off the field. If I have an issue with a decision, I will inform the captain, coach or manager to escalate. Abusive language is unacceptable.
• I will not use social media to make or post inappropriate comments against players, opponents, coaches, clubs, club officials or match officials which are discriminatory or offensive.
• I will comply with anti-doping policies as outlined by Hockey NZ.
